Every two seconds someone in the United States needs blood.
The American Red Cross serves over 3,000 hospitals throughout the country. We deliver a wide range of high quality blood products, as well as, blood donor and patient testing services. We bring expertise in transfusion medicine and dedication to meeting our clients’ needs.
To satisfy the ever increasing demand on the nation’s blood supply, American Red Cross chapters around the country coordinate local blood drives.
The Monterey Bay Area Chapter holds several blood drives a year in conjunction with the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula Blood Mobile and the Red Cross Blood Center in Oakland.
